Jul 04, 2017 If you switch to a Mac after becoming familiar with Windows, you’ll quickly find that the standard Ctrl+Alt+Delete shortcut doesn’t do anything. Mac OS X does have its own version of the Task Manager, but it’s a bit different than Windows’, and you access it by pressing Command+Option+Esc. Ctrl + Shift + I. Open Developer Tools. Ctrl + Shift + L. Paste and search or Paste and go (if it's a URL) Ctrl + Shift + M. Sign in as a different user or browse as a Guest. Ctrl + Shift + N. Open a new InPrivate window. Ctrl + Shift + O. Open Favorites management. Ctrl + Shift + P. Print using the system dialog. Ctrl + Shift + R. Select the group of tracks you want to cascade inputs or outputs. Hold down Shift+Option+Command and select the input (or output) on first track. Select the group of tracks you want to cascade inputs or outputs. Hold down Shift+Alt+Ctrl and select the input (or output) on first track. This is the closest thing the Mac offers to the Windows Alt key. In many situations, keyboard shortcuts that involve the Alt key in Windows use the Option key on the Mac. For example, in Microsoft Word, the keyboard shortcut for the Split Document Window command is Alt+Ctrl+S in Windows, but Option-⌘-T on the Macintosh.
